OUR STORY
Are Getting Married
It all began in 2021, when we first noticed each other. Well, when he noticed her walking with her friends, completely unaware that her brown eyes had stopped him in his tracks. He asked about her for weeks, hoping their paths would cross again. When she finally showed up to his shop, he was so shocked he barely knew what to do. She swears he shut the door in her face, and he still denies it, but the moment turned into laughter and became the spark that started everything.
Once we began talking, something between us clicked effortlessly, and before long we were finding every excuse to spend time together. On March 22, 2021, during a port stop in Greece, under a warm night sky, we made it official and fell in love almost in the same breath.
After deployment, we moved in together. Everything was moving so fast but it just felt right and we truly turned our house into a home. We had late night conversations, hosted gatherings with friends and got our dream dog, Nacho short for Nacho Libre. On April 23, 2023, WE GOT ENGAGED!! It was one of the best days of both of our lives we were smiling so hard our cheeks were hurting.
Shortly after that the Navy moved us to Beaumont, Texas to start a new chapter in our life. We bought our second home and welcomed our second fur baby, Chico short for Chico Bean. When life shifted faster than expected, we chose something intimate and deeply personal. On February 1, 2024, dressed as a cowboy and cowgirl, we walked into the courthouse, just the two of us, we wanted that moment to only belong to us. In that quiet room, laughing and glowing, we promised each other forever.
Now, as we get ready to say “I Do” again on April 23, 2026, we can’t help but to think back at how it all started with a persistent guy and a pair of brown eyes he couldn’t forget.
